The guitar world boasts numerous styles and sounds that younger players aspire to achieve. At Roxy Music, we believe in providing what you need to achieve the sound you desire. Guitars specifically designed for metal players are something we felt was necessary. We are thrilled to announce that the time has come. Roxy Music is now an official dealer of all ESP Guitars, and we now proudly carry the ESP LTD line.

ESP’s History

ESP was founded in 1975 by Hisatake Shibuya. They gained notoriety when George Lynch discovered them in Japan and asked them to make the signature George Lynch Kamikaze guitar. This catapulted ESP into being one of the leading metal-style guitar manufacturers in the world.

Sound

The sound of ESP guitars emanates from their exceptional craftsmanship and fantastic pickups. The ESP LTD guitars in our store feature robust mahogany bodies and a wide range of neck options. These guitars boast a variety of pickups, from ESP-designed pickups to EMGs and Seymour Duncans. They all produce a massive sound, yet they aren't limited to just metal. They sound great clean, and most guitars have coil-tap capabilities, allowing you to achieve crystal-clear neck pickups and a twangy bridge.

Design

ESP guitars exhibit beautiful designs with exquisite colors and captivating patterns. Even the body styles that are super common have a uniqueness to them, making these some of the most beautiful guitars in our store.

Playability

The LTD guitars are incredibly playable, featuring a thin U neck design for most models that complements the needs of most players. They are designed for hardcore riffing! The guitars come alive on the lower strings but also have great capabilities in the upper registers.

Evertune

The Evertune bridge is arguably the most unique bridge in existence. The goal of the Evertune is to maintain perfect tune stability. It uses a system of springs to adjust with the string, ensuring it stays in tune all the time. This creates a unique system for players who really want to hit hard riffs. It does have some limitations for bending, but the bridge is very adjustable on each string and allows for bending once set up for that. It can also be set individually for each string if you want to be able to bend it or not!

Viper Series

The Viper series is a double-cut guitar with two humbucker pickups, featuring beautiful designs. In our shop, we have two Viper 256 models for $500. We also offer two Viper 1000 guitars with higher quality pickups and locking tuners. Both the 256’s and the 1000’s have coil-tap capabilities, allowing you to get a crystal-clear neck pickup, which is uncommon on double-cut guitars like these!

MH Series

For those seeking an S-style guitar for metal sounds, check out the MH series. There are various variations that cater to different playing styles. Our MH-203 even comes with a Floyd Rose version, and you can also get the MH-1000 with the Evertune Bridge.

Arrow Series
