Trans Acoustic Effects

Yamaha has unmatched guitar innovation. The TransAcoustic Guitars are the most innovative guitar made in the last 20 years. These guitars give players the ability to add effects to their playing unplugged. They have built in Reverb and Chorus units that play even when unplugged. This allows you to create cool sounds in your bedroom, around a campfire, or in the street without any outside effects. It is a truly unique design.  

The Reverb and Chorus are not created digitally either. They effects get created by an actuator installed on the inner surface of the back of the guitar. The actuator takes the vibrations of the strings and convert it into Reverb or Chorus. These effects come from the body of the guitar to create a beautiful sound not heard on any other guitar. The effects can be adjusted by the knobs on the body of the guitar allowing the player to have the amount they want. The reverb control has the ability to simulate a Room or a Hall reverb. This can be adjusted on the side of the guitar as well.

The LLTA and LSTA guitars are treated with Yamaha’s innovative A.R.E. Treatment. This stands for Acoustic Resonance Enhancement. The A.R.E. process is incredible. In simple terms, they apply pressure to the wood of the guitar to make it sound aged and unaffected by climate.

Other Models

The other trans acoustic guitars start to get to a price anybody could afford. The next one is the FGC-TA. This guitar is the incredible Yamaha FG series with a cutaway in a trans acoustic. In my opinion, the FG series is the best acoustic guitars that you can get anywhere from $200-$600. These guitars sound incredible and play well. The FGC-TA is no exception. It comes in a Vintage Tint, Sunburst, and Black at an affordable price of $779.99. If you aren’t interested in a cutaway guitar they also have the regular FG-TA which is only $679.99 

The next models are the FS-TA and the FSC-TA. They are part of the Yamaha FS series. These guitars come with all the onboard effects of the other Trans Acoustic guitars. The FSC costs $779.99 while the FS is $679.99. The only difference between the guitars is the cutaway on the neck.
